Amy von Ammerthal is a beautiful 15 month old German Shepherd with a big zest for life. This sociable and fun-loving girl is always ready to head out on an adventure or just enjoy time with her people. And she does love her people, she's very affectionate and eager to please. She is also attentive, quick to learn, food-motivated, takes treats gently, and knows commands including Sit, Down and Paw. Amy meets both people and big dogs with a friendly spirit and wagging tail. Once she's settled into a walking pace, she likes to lean on her handler at times. She thrives in doggy playgroups at the rescue, effortlessly making friends with other dogs, happily playing and even encouraging others to join in the fun. However, she's not for small dogs or cats. Amy is sure to bond closely with her forever family. Another playful pup would be a plus.
